It is the greatest skill we can learn how to master, because it is the key to immediate and enduring happiness. It’s the ultimate superpower.

In this episode I share a 6-part framework that you can begin using now to change any behaviour that has prevented you from not only achieving your potential, but exceeding it.

 1. Accept that behaviours are skills & all skills can be learned and mastered.

We vastly underestimate our ability to teach ourselves anything, whether that thing be discipline, resilience, or patience to name a few.

2. Establish your why.

There are two key questions to answer here. What's in it for you? And what's in it for others when you achieve your goal?

3. Acquire a new way to think about your problem.

Every problem we have exists because he have a false belief around that area and that prevents us from having success. We need to identity what that false belief is and then look to counter it by creating a new way of thinking that I call The Big Domino Mindset.

4. Understand why it's vital to keep your commitments to yourself.

There are 3 aspects to explore here. The frequency of a new habit, it’s duration and the psychology behind your commitment.

5. Default to simplicity.

Humans are hardwired for complexity, but complexity is not sustainable long-term. You must rigorously, relentlessly and ruthlessly eliminate the unnecessary.

6. Grow as you go.

Learn how to navigate failure, imperfection and inconsistency as you strive to create profound change.
