Case Study #1
Meet Dean Dwyer from Toronto. (Wait! That's me.)
A few years back I had a game changing insight. My life goes as my body goes. What my body looks like, what it can do, and how well it can keep me healthy and safe determines not only how I show up in the world, but how long I can show up in the world. I initially thought this insight was unique to me, but I have since realized this is true for everyone who struggles with their body. Armed with this insight, I set out to transform my destiny. And that's exactly what I have done. I have lost 40 lbs and kept it off for 751 days and counting, got down to 10.1% body fat, increased my health span (I have not been ill in 3 years) and increased the kind of skills my body can perform at an age, when people think I should be in decline. I post videos on Instagram as a way to show people that I have sustained my success and to punch age related myths right in the face. Here's my latest video.
Two takeaways from my success.
One. Age is irrelevant. I will be 56 next month and I am only just beginning to discover my potential!
Two. My past does not determine my future. Transformation is possible for anyone at any age with the right mindset and methodology.

Case Study #2.
Meet Julie from Toronto. Age 48.
Before I even started my journey on July 19th, 2019, I had this thought. I didn't just want to solve my own problem, I wanted to do it with a methodology that a stay-at-home mom of 3 young children could do. Julie, was one of the first people I started coaching one-on-one and what most intrigued me is she met all my criteria of my initial scenario. She had at least 25 lbs to lose, was a mother of 3 (youngest was 9, oldest was 16) and was a full-time teacher, teaching during a pandemic where stress continues to be at an all time high. Even with limited time, Julie was able to lose 13.7% of her body weight in the 6 months we worked together focusing on just a few key vital behaviours that didn't take away from her role as a daughter, friend, mother, wife and teacher.
Two takeaways from Julie's success.
One. My protocol works for others regardless of gender.
Two. Super busy people can have success with my protocol because it is predicated on doing the minimum possible to get the biggest return on investment.

Case Study #3.
Meet Michael from Toronto. Age 50.
What's interesting about this case study is most of Michael's progress came, not by working with me, but by working with his wife Julie (our awesome Case Study #2 contestant!) At his peak weight, Michael was 289 lbs. He had worked his way down to about 260 lbs when Julie started sharing what she was learning with me to him. It was many months later before I learned about Michael's success and reached out to learn more. Over the ensuing months, Michael got down to 200 lbs, a loss of almost 20% of his total starting body weight.
Two takeaways from Michael's success.
One. Behaviour is contagious (so be careful who you spend your time with.)
Two. I need to encourage my clients to teach what they learn to others, and plant the seed of using their success story to start their own consulting business.

Case Study #4.
Michael from Texas. Age 43. Starting weight: 311 lbs.
Michael is a fascinating man. He is married with 2 young children under 10. He just recently re-settled back in Texas after he and his family spent 3 years RVing (actually they have a big ass trailer they tow but I don't have a cool verb to use) around a tiny country called the US of A. He works for a super cool online company doing programming type things and has the good fortune to be able to work from wherever his feet are at. At his peak, Michael was 311 lbs. He managed to get down to about 255 lbs on his own, but his success stalled there for about 3 months. That is when he reached out to your friendly neighbourhood Canadian. This was on December 14th, 2020. Our efforts have focused mostly on tweaking his eating protocol (What I call Eating Intelligence). Over the past 6 months Michael has had a consistent march down towards 200 lbs and on Thursday of this past week, he dropped below the magical 200 lb mark for the first time since high school. I think his ideal body weight is around 185 lbs so we have work left to do.
Two takeaways from Michael's success.
One. Big problems can crumble when a few vital behaviours are done consistently day in and day out.
Two. We have done virtually nothing yet with 10-minute body, which goes to show how small changes to your eating can change everything.

Case Study #5.
Meet Jonathan from Denmark. Age 48. Starting weight: 261 lbs.
Jonathan and I just started working together 2 months ago (Yesterday was day 60 on his journey.) He also has two young children under 10. He is an online security expert for a very successful company and splits his work week between working at home and going into the office. JD (as I call him) was a little skeptical about one-on-one coaching, but decided to make the investment after our first call where I shared a few more details about the principles behind what I teach. To be honest, two months is a little early to be sharing results, but I can't help myself. JD is already down almost 25lbs and is closing in on 10% of his body weight lost. The most amazing part of his success is he and his family went on vacation to Greece for two weeks and Ireland for 5 days...and he continued to lose weight (because he stuck to the principles we discussed.) Seriously! Who goes on vacation and loses weight!!!!
Two lessons learned from Jonathan.
One. He put his scepticism aside and went all in on his commitment to a few vital behaviours we discussed.
Two. He has been amazed at how much he can eat (this is NOT about calorie restriction as that isn't sustainable long-term) while still seeing his weight drop off relatively easily.
